Microsoft Web/.NET Product Technology Architect
- Ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction
- Scoping and defining work effort, and resource plan for assigned projects
- Conducting detailed requirements gathering for product development for the targeted software product
- Analyzing all information obtained during the requirements gathering phase to translate customer vision into a detailed technical implementation plan
- Provide design and architecture expertise for large complex environments
- Performing advanced or complex prototyping for web/.NET technologies
- Participation in design and implementation of complex solution architectures
- Lead multi-developer engagements and mentor junior staff
Qualifications
- Outstanding written and oral communications skills, and group facilitation capabilities
- Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft web and .NET architecture, technology, and concepts with deep experience in all development concepts
- Ability to conceptualize clients' needs and translate into specific implementation strategies
- Superior problem solving and decision-making capabilities
- Deep experience in designing and implementing Microsoft web-based solutions in a variety of industries
- Must have expert knowledge of industry standards, methodologies, technologies, architecture and resources including all relevant Microsoft technologies
- Knowledge of software or applications development life cycle
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Relevant Bachelors degree and 8-10 years of application development and consulting experience or equivalent, with a strong focus on Microsoft technologies and project management
- A Microsoft certification is preferred, with the ideal candidate possessing one of the following certifications: MCTS, MCITP, MCA, or MCM
- Solid consulting background and experience implementing and managing complex technology solution projects
- High level of professionalism, integrity and commitment to quality
- Organizational skills and ability to multi-task, organize, prioritize and meet deadlines
- Desire to pursue applicable professional development and certifications
- Demonstrated initiative and positive can-do attitude
- ASP.NET (Visual Basic), 5+ years at architect level
- Web application architecture and development, 5+ years at architect level
- ASP.NET web services
- Dynamic ASP.NET
- HTML
- CSS
- JavaScript, specifically jQuery
- AJAX with jQuery, knowledge of jQuery plugins
- LINQ-to-SQL
- Knowledge of coding best practices, patterns, and so on
- Windows Services development
- WCF Services architecture, development, and configuration
- SQL Server database architecture development (designing schema, stored procedures, views, triggers, T-SQL)
- OpenXML and dynamically generating Excel documents
- SQL Server Reporting Services
