Mid and Sr. Level Forensics Engineer Job in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania US

Mid Level Forensics Engineer:
Veris Group, LLC has an immediate opening for a Mid-level Forensics Engineer to join our growing company and expanding Computer Forensics/Incident Responder service offering. To be considered for this position, the candidate must be available to work in New Cumberland, PA. There is no projected travel involved.

Responsibilities include:
• Supporting high technology investigations in the form of TCPdump Analysis, general network traffic analysis, IDS signatures and analysis, and intrusion detection analysis.
• Researching and maintaining a proficiency in tools, techniques, countermeasures, and trends in computer network vulnerabilities, data hiding, network security, and encryption.
• Assisting in deterring, identifying, monitoring, investigating, and analyzing computer network intrusions
Required Skills:

Candidate must have at least three (3) years of experience in the IT industry, out of which at least three (3) years will be in the field of incident response/forensics support. The candidate will have vast experience in incident response, network forensics, computer forensics, intrusion analysis, intrusion methodologies, intelligence analysis, CI indicator recognition, CI analysis reporting, technical reporting, and presentation skills for various government customers. Ideal candidates will be experienced in Cyber-CI/CE/CT investigations and/or operations and have the ability to adapt quickly to a fast paced and dynamic environment for high impact, mission-critical network security operations.

Education
At a minimum, the Mid-level Forensics Engineer will have a bachelor’s degree in IT or other business management field or additional three (3) years of relevant IT/security experience.

Sr. Level Forensics Engineer:
Veris Group, LLC has an immediate opening for a Senior-level Forensics Engineer to join our growing company and expanding Computer Forensics/Incident Responder service offering. To be considered for this position, the candidate must be available to work in New Cumberland, PA. There is no projected travel involved.

Responsibilities include:
