Mid-Level Business Intelligence Analyst
Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering and information technology professionals, has an immediate opening for an Business Intelligence Analyst on a Direct Hire opportunity with a leading company in Fort Worth, TX In this position candidates will perform duties as the Business Intelligence Analyst on the BI project team responsible to the lead position for merging the business requirements with the BI tools and technology through server administration, cubes, reports, testing and training in the BI environment. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Education: Bachelor's Degree Basic Job Duties: - Perform capacity planning required to create and maintain cubes in the BI environment. - Perform ongoing tuning and performance monitoring of cubes in the BI environment (cube reviews). - Control migrations of changes through the development life cycle. (Change control) - Implement and enforce security for the BI environment. - Provide technical support to any KBIT users. - Ensure the integrity of the data in the BI environment. Monitor and provide technical support of ETL and SSIS processes. - Help administer scheduled jobs for the building of dashboards, cubes and reports. - Assist the DBA with any performance problems dealing with the data warehouse. - Troubleshoot problems in regards to the cubes, views, dashboards or reports using BI tools. - Design, construct and schedule the creations of cubes. - Participate in design meetings for data requirements for the BI environment. - Setup and maintain documentation and standards. - Assist his/her manager to estimate projects or "System Change Request" requests as required. - Report the progress of assigned projects to his/her manager and fulfill departmental administrative reporting requirements. - Perform other duties as requested by his/her manager. - Communicate with all levels of management and user areas in a professional manner. - Mentor less senior members of the BI team. - Adhere to departmental standards.
