Responsibilities - Develop schematics, interconnects and one-line drawings from engineering sketches or mark-ups. - Develop lighting, voltage drop, and cable pulling tension calculations. - Design and size raceways, including above and below grade conduit and cable tray. - Utilizes and understands applicable engineering national and local codes. - Understand and interpret plan drawings, one-lines and PIDs. Write and route circuits and raceway. Qualifications - Associate's degree in Drafting Technology and 5 + years of power plant design experience or a related field; or completion of a vocational training program in drafting. and 5 + years of power plant design experience. - Capable of utilizing a computer-aided drafting program (MicroStation, AutoCAD, Plant 4D, Navis Works), and have a basic knowledge of computer operating systems. - Experience working with spreadsheets and databases.
