Mid-level Equity analyst Paris office recruitment
The client:
The client invests in global equities. Their funds are not benchmarked. Their clients are mainly private clients and thus they have a very stable client base.
The role:
You will work alongside a team of 5 analysts. You will work directly under the head of research. You will be responsible for your own research. You will conduct fundamental analysis of companies, meet/interview company management, participate in industry conferences, take part in the fund management by making buy/sell recommendations. The client will likely sponsor you to become CFA qualified if you are not already qualified. Unlike in some small firms where you have to conduct administrative tasks such as fund valorisation etc... all of this is taken care of and thus not part of the analyst's job.
Candidate Profile:
- You have from 2-5 years maximum experience as a buyside equity analyst. Geographical and sector coverage is irrelevant
- From a personality standpoint, the client is looking for someone who is creative, original, autonomous, honest, humble, critical, good reasoning skills, adaptable and flexible
- You have a long term horizon in terms of your investment style.
You are fluent in French.
