Middle East, Africa VAT Accountant
On behalf of our world wide well-known multinational partner we are looking for candidates for the following role:
Middle East, Africa VAT Accountant - Budapest
Main tasks:
This role will perform the operational execution of the VAT Accounting activities in support of the submission of VAT return.
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations supporting the VAT return including monthly commentary analysis.
- Perform other reconciliations including the VAT return to balance sheet reconciliation, base revenue reconciliation, statutory VAT reconciliation.
- Support Tax audits/queries
- Perform all processes supporting the VAT return submission to include:
- Preparation of data for inclusion in the VAT return, submission of VAT returns/payments to the tax authorities, monthly journal vouchers
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Fluent written and spoken English
- At least 1 year experience in Accounting
- French or Arabic language knowledge is an advantage
- Good communication skills in both written and oral format
