Middle Office Analyst – Trade Processing recruitment

The main mission of the team is to ensure the successful conclusion of the orders for all trades processed by Amundi London Middle Office. The Trade Processing team acts as a main point of contact for Dealing Desks, Custodian Back-Offices, Middle Office Portfolio Administration teams and Brokers/Counterparties for Bonds, Term Deposits, FX, OTC Derivatives and Listed Derivatives.

We are looking for a French and English speaking candidate with a strong Fixed Income Trade Support or Settlements background. The candidate will demonstrate a strong capacity to take initiatives and manage projects, as well as efficiently handling the day to day. Excellent communication and problem solving skills are also key for this role.

• Monitoring trades post execution, once they have been input/fed into the OMS by Front Office

• Ensuring all trades executed are confirmed with the broker/counterparty before being instructed

• Sending instructions in due time (within cut-offs) to the custodian, and on a trade date basis to the accounting

• Investigating and chasing any outstanding or mismatch by liaising with the dealers, custodians and counterparties until resolution

• Ensuring SSI’s are maintained in databases and accurately communicated to counterparties

• Maintaining mapping of portfolios, products, and counterparties in trade matching tools and platforms

• Dealing with the collateral activity for Prime Brokered portfolios: daily reconciliation and nettings confirmation

• For all derivatives, following up all flows and events throughout the trade life cycle, including accurate feed in relevant systems, confirmation and timely instruction (where applicable)

• For Listed Derivatives, performing the daily reconciliation of trades positions with the clearer

• Making sure all terms of OTC derivatives confirmations are correct and meet Amundi’s legal requirements

• Liaising with the Portfolio Administration team to advise them of any failure which could impact their reconciliations / the portfolio valuation

• Providing any relevant information as part of the Claims investigation process

• Keeping up to date with STP, systems, upgrades and organisation changes

• Keeping procedures updated and providing ideas to improve processes

• Participating in projects, attending internal and external meetings, working closely with Amundi Paris teams (Middle Office in particular)

• Being fully flexible among members of the team, being able to provide back up, and keeping aware of portfolios / custodians / products / market specificities

• Following up implementation of new products and events on portfolios, taking appropriate actions

• Speaking English and French
