Position Overview
This position is responsible for providing oversight on the day-to-day activities for the London Middle Office. Collaborating with peers and cross functional disciplines to establish and  implement an appropriate middle office model in London supporting all securites trading activity for Wells Fargo Securities Limited (WFSIL) and the London branch of Wells Fargo Bank. This position manages a staff of  eight, supporting all trading activity performed by the London trading desks.

Responsibilities
The primary areas of responsibility for the role are as follows:
• Supervise a team of eight, supporting multiple products and entities across the London platform.
• Continuously review and streamline operational processes to increase efficiencies, controls, minimise operational risk and prevent potential losses.
• Initiate and lead efforts in support of the emerging European business products, relating to all Middle Office requirements.
• Keep up with industry initiatives that impact the business in London.
• Identify and create enhanced metrics to track flawless execution.
• Strengthen partnership with business partners and other support teams to enhance overall customer experience.
• Mentor staff, facilitating training and development to ensure full cross training coverage within department.
