Middle Office Manager recruitment

My client is a leading independent Investment Manager with 11 offices in the UK, and an international capability across 100 countries. Glasgow is an operational hub providing support to the stockbroking and investment management businesses. 2011 saw a number of roles moved from London to Glasgow, and this theme looks set to continue in the coming years.

This continued growth has led to a requirement to hire an Operations Manager. Sitting in a true Middle Office role, you will be providing support to both the front office and settlements, ensuring processes are improved, projects are successfully rolled out and delivering a streamlined STP solution.

You will have a thorough understanding of the settlement process, and have experience in a team leader or senior analyst position. You will be used to managing a small team, and be looking to step up to a managerial position. You will be able to demonstrate process improvement experience, ideally gained through close monitoring and management of KPI's / SLA's. Project experience would be an advantage. Due to the unique nature of this role, exceptional stakeholder manager skills are required.
