Middle Office Operations Analyst

Fantastic Middle Office Operations Analyst opportunity working for an ethically driven Investment Management firm based in Central London.

As the Middle Office Operations Analyst you will be joining a small close-knit team in a boutique investment management firm that specializes in socially responsible and ethical investments. The business offers excellent training and development with highly knowledgeable and technical individuals, which is growing steadily.

Your responsibilities will include but is not limited to:
-Trade processing, carrying out trade instructions and settlement including verifying dealing prices, broker commission, preparing and sending instructions.
-Investigating and rectifying any failed trade issues/ queries.
-Daily cash balances and reconciliation between front office and custodian systems.
-Manage valuation and pricing functions including data validation, researching asset information, processing corporate actions, communicating with Fund Managers, brokers and other relevant parties.
-Client reporting, liaising with client representatives.
-Provide support to the Fund Management team.
-Client Servicing with internal/ external parties such as actuaries, accountants, auditors, custodians, brokers.

To successfully qualify for the role you MUST have:
-Studied a quantitative degree ideally in: Mathematics/ Engineering/ Statistics/ Economics/ Accountancy.
-Highly advanced Excel skills: create macros from scratch, vba, pivot tables, vlook ups, complex formulas (ESSENTIAL).
-Internship/ work experience within Investment Management.
-Strong knowledge of Equities and pooled funds.
-Confident and possess excellent communication skills.
-Highly articulate, polished, enthusiastic and keen to learn.
-Strong team player, flexible and adaptable.
