1.
Client Management:
- Foster positive relationships with the customer base.
- Directly manage up to 6 MOCSD Operations Unit Managers that serve as the lead operations liaison for the Client, Relationship Management and Client Services.
- Conflict resolution of client issues that are not resolved by the MOCSD Operations Unit Managers.
- Measure performance and ensure transparency to the clients Service Level Agreements.
- Participate on Client Steering Committees and Client Operational review meetings, as needed.
- Direct the activities of client implementations and de-conversions.
- Identify and resolve, with Relationship management CSO, operational hurdles with new client requests new accounts/products. Manage the SLA Change Management process, as needed.
- Actively seek information to understand client circumstances, issues, expectations and needs.

Operations Management:
- Oversees and directs the daily operations of their operating unit to ensure that goals and objectives are met, and that services delivered to the client are being provided efficiently and effectively. Functional responsibilities of the operating unit include some or all of the following: Investment Book of Record (IBOR), partnership accounting, custodian reconciliations, fee billing, valuations, regulatory reporting, client statement productions, financial statement production, securities processing, securities settlements, complex securities processing, client reporting and/or management reporting.
- Plans, organises , administers, reviews and evaluates the work of the operating unit through the supervision of their direct reports.
- Provides operations leadership and assistance to their operating unit.
- Provide technical direction to their operating unit.
- Collaborate with the Director of Outsourcing Services and global business partners to define, launch and drive critical business initiatives.
- Prioritise allocate available operating unit resources.
- Manage controllable expenses associated with the operating unit.
- Establish operating unit goals in conjunction with MOCSD, Asset Servicing and BNY Mellon business objectives. Interface with clients on future needs, and plan accordingly to exceed their expectations.
- Deliver service within SLA parameters. Partner with relationship management to manage complex SLA matters with the client including scope change, new products and issue resolution.

- Attract, retain and build organisational talent.
- Coach and develop a team of motivated individuals and inspire them to achieve their highest potential.
- Implement training and certification processes for all staff.
- Implement curriculums to foster employee engagement.
- Establish individual and team goals. Align goals with MOCSD, Asset Servicing or Corporate wide initiatives.

Operation Risk Management
- Manage all operational risk associated with the operating unit. Ensure effective operating controls are maintained across the operating unit, including the documentation of process flows, operating procedures and risk assessments.
- Monitor completion of all account reconciliations and aged items.
- Direct audit support for SOC 1 and other audit engagements, both internal external.
- Monitor the risk profile and processing risk of client relationships on an ongoing basis. Identify, evaluate and implement technology enhancements needed to effectively support client requirements while at the same time mitigating the overall operating risk to BNY Mellon.
- Partner with the Embedded Control Manager to conduct root cause analysis, remediation planning, and lessons learned reviews on operating losses and near misses.

- Support the Sales process for new business opportunities expansion of existing client relationships.
- Participate in Sales Presentations

Project Management Other
- Implement technology projects and enable them into the operating unit.
- Implement business initiatives that enable new product offerings or the global expansion of the MOCSD operating model.
- Facilitate the implementation of new products and/or significant changes to existing products into the global operating model.
- Participate in industry forums, seminars and conferences. Represent BNY Mellon.
- Managed vendor relationships that are owned by the Line of Business

- Demonstrated ability to lead a team and manage people, including coaching and developing for excellent performance
- Ability to achieve results and lead teams in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
- Effective project management skills.
- High level of communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal .
