Middle School Humanities Teacher
MICDS (Mary Institute and St. Louis Country Day School) is seeking a dynamic and talented teacher to join our Middle School faculty as a combined history and English teacher starting in the 2012-2013 academic year. The ideal candidate will have an excellent academic background including a master’s degree in one of the two disciplines, plus significant undergraduate coursework in the companion discipline. At least three years of teaching experience is preferred, with strong prior work with both history and English curricula. Experience with or willingness to work within a 1:1 tablet laptop environment is a must. In addition to serving as an advisor to 10-12 students, the position includes additional community responsibilities such as coaching and/or club sponsorship.
