• Websphere Application Server and IIS Specialist

Our client, a well established Australian brand and leader in their field, requires an experienced Webshere Application Server and IIS specialist to join their Middleware team. You will be responsible for implementation and configuration of WebSphere Application Server (WAS) and IIS across all supported platforms. This includes DataPower, WebSphere MQ and WebSphere Business Integration Message Broker. In addition you will also provide recommendations and consultation to application teams on product upgrades, as well as performance monitoring and tuning, including problem troubleshooting and Vendor Management. 
 
To be successful in this role, you will have: 
 

• Several years experience working with Middleare, in particular Websphere Application Server 
• Solid working experience with IIS 
• Good communication skills and the ability the communicate in both "tech talk" as well as laymans terms 
• Experience with Enterprise Systems Monitoring Tools 
• An interest or experience with automation
