Midlands CHC Assessor
I am urgently looking for a RMN to work as a Nurse Assessor within continuing healthcare. This is a 3 month contract with the possibility of a 3 months role on extension. It is full time hours Monday to Friday and is based in the Midlands area.
You will be involved in undertaking Continuing Health Care assessments for people in their own homes, in nursing homes or as part of their discharge from hospital. As nurse assessor you will be working closely with individuals with general and complex health needs, their carers and families, a range of Providers and Health and Social Care Professionals to ensure that those who are eligible can have their package of care funded by the NHS. You will also be part of the Multi-Disciplinary Team making recommendations in respect of eligibility for NHS Continuing Health Care.
I am looking for a RMN with excellent assessment skills and it is essential that you must have strong verbal and written communication skills. You must be able to think on your feet, use your own initiative, work as part of a team and be able to manage your own workload and report writing. You must have previous CHC experience to be considered.
For this role you need to be available for full time hours, able to start once you are cleared for work through Hays, have you own car, have a valid driver’s license and a valid NMC pin number. The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and must be able to provide references to cover the last 3 years.
