Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to join our Operations Migration team based in Sydney.
Reporting to the Director of Global Operations, the purpose of this role is to lead the support of business and project activities through the testing, implementation and analysis of online platforms and operational processes in order to manage and mitigate risks and issues.
These projects will ultimately assist in the migration of Western Union Business Solutions APAC client base and third party partners, including client and trade data held in multiple jurisdictions into purpose built business platforms with the aim of improving business efficiency.
Responsibilities will include:
- Provide support to UAT activities covering multiple functional releases by engaging business requirement documents to conduct appropriate tests and support test scenarios.
- Validate data transfer of current client details from an offline to an online solution, assist in segmenting client data to allow a structured, phased approach to migration.
- Participate in cross business forums where required to provide representation of UAT results and migration updates. Includes providing feedback to developers and business analysts based on and off shore.
- Work with desktop and platform applications to ensure data formatting is cleansed and structured to allow effective and accurate use.
Qualifications, Skills Knowledge
The ideal candidate will have relevant tertiary qualifications with at least 3 years’ experience in similar role and strong experience with UAT testing. The ability to network with all sections of the business and development teams is a must as is the ability to multitask and ensure deadlines are met. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent time management skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
