Migration Project Manager
Function:
We are looking for a Migration Project Manager with solid fixed wireline migration experience for several years. The job is to manage a large and complex migration from legacy DSL, ATM towards IP/MPLS Target so to be successful candidates must be able to show track record of having done these type of end-to-end migrations in the past.
Skills needed:
- Hands-on Project Management experience with full life cycles.
- Experience with telecom legacy networks, specifically with migrating these to IP/MPLS networks and a good technical
understanding of these
- understand the SP's IT systems and how they interact / fit into the end-to-end migrations process
- PMI certified
- good level of understanding of ATM, DSL and IP/MPLS
- willing to work all Sundays 22.00 - 06.00 am
- understanding processes. ITIL certified is a plus.
- Client facing experience
- Experience in working with virtual/international teams
- Candidates are pragmatic self starters with a can do mentality and excellent people skills
- They can communicate well with different levels in the organisation and as main contact point to another Telecom Operator.
- They are able to handle different cultures and sometimes politically challenging situations
- They can work well independently in a matrix organisation and deliver results on time
- They are flexible to work on different locations in Belgium and also to travel in Europe (max 30%)
