Specific Job Description Contingent position based upon winning the task order. Proposed start date 27 April 2012. The Information Security (IS) Manager supports the Network Operations and Security Center (NOSC). Helps to manage the Joint Training and Experimentation Network (JTEN) and its persistent and non-persistent nodes installed around the world. Monitors network performance and troubleshoots problems. Maintains awareness of latest IA threats and hostile tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP). Coordinates scheduled outages with joint experimentation and joint training event planners to minimize impact on joint events. Coordinates with remote locations to ensure current keymat is installed in encryption devices. Notifies Global Network Coordination Center (GNCC) of outages or unauthorized intrusions and their impact on any events in progress. Independently develops, modifies, and maintains complex programs that produce several interrelated but different products. Tests, documents, and writes operating instructions for all work. Perform programming analysis such as investigating the feasibility of developing alternate programs, assisting users in defining needs, or participating on an engineering change proposal (ECP) and user team working on large and complicated programs. Standard Job Description Identify and manage internal and external all-source Military Operations, including both analytical and collection requirements from across the Military Operations community. Reports to the Survey Analysis Center Chief. May work alone or with DoD civilians and military personnel. Performs a variety of activities in one or more of the following and/or related areas: interfaces with other offices and agencies to ensure timely and effective completion of tasks, identifies requirements and tasks them to the appropriate collection elements, verifies that responses meet requirements, compiles the daily activities report and distributes, coordinates with the specified targets- webmaster to verify reporting data is posted to the web portal, coordinates with operations centers and operational leads to support missions.
