Computer Operator 11s -- 15 needed in Fort Hood for temporary military test
***** This is a temporary position that begins immediately and runs through sometime in June 2012. The pay is $16.86 per hour, plus a health and welfare credit of $3.59 per hour. This equates to an hourly pay of $20.45.*****
Requirements:
• US citizenship
• Three years experience in the automotive field, or status as a journeyman
mechanic in the automotive trade.
• High School diploma or equivalent and completion of technical or military
school with a specialty in auto mechanics
• Eligible for and be able to obtain a U.S. Government motor vehicle operator’s
permit for assigned class of vehicle
• Must consent to drug/alcohol testing; continued employment is contingent on
satisfactory results of drug/alcohol testing (zero tolerance for both; must test
0% blood alcohol level)
• Must be able to support test requirements at Temporary Duty (TDY) site for a
period of up to 75 days
• Must be able to meet daily attendance requirements during critical test periods
Additional/Preferred Requirements:
• Have RAM, performance, and MANPRINT data management experience
• Must be familiar with development of OTERAM databases
• Must be familiar with the development of data collection forms and data collection
training material
• Knowledge of Vision Digital Library System (VDLS) and the Army Test Incident
Reporting System (ATIRS)
• Previous experience with Blue Force Tracker (BFT), Multiple Integrated Laser
Engagement System (MILES) 2000, Advance Distributed Modular Acquisition
System (ADMAS), Golden Eye, and digital video recorder data types
• Previous experience with the ProDV visualization software
• Previous experience supporting RAM Scoring Conferences (RSC)
• Previous video reduction experience
• Must be able to operate and build queries and reports within an MS Access
database.
• Must be able to build RAM, performance, and MANPRINT data collection forms
and surveys.
• Must be able to develop training plans and data collection standard operating
procedures.
• Must be capable of investigating anomalies within the data.
• Must be knowledgeable of test planning documentation.
• Must be knowledgeable of post test reporting documentation.
• Lift on an occasional basis a maximum of 20 pounds with frequent or constant
lifting of 10 pounds
• Wear a Kevlar Helmet for one hour or more per work day
• Climb in and out of military vehicles and related equipment
• Work in all types of weather conditions to include intense heat, heavy wind,
blowing sand, heavy rain, and snow and sleet
• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time
• Work varying shifts in a 24 hour period
• Respond to changes in work schedules, overtime, and off-hours call-ins
• Abide by all RAM and Range rules and regulations.
• Maintain a safe work record.
