Key responsibilities:
- Development of the mine operations strategy including the operational organization, staffing plans and work schedules;
- Development of the plans around performance workflow;
- Development of the mine information systems including identifying the critical path and defining the strategy of the mine
- Prepare the mining operations and maintenance organization for production
The successful candidate must have:
- Engineering degree in mine engineering. APEGGA registration
- A minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience working in mine planning and/or mine operations. Preference will be given to those candidates with oil sands experience.
- You must be highly motivated with exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Familiar with mine planning and scheduling software
