The role will essentially be Mid - Long Term Planning reporting into a Planning Superintendent. The Tech Services team is relatively small so your role will be very diverse, you will be working with another planning engineer and a few production Engineers too. The Manager and Superintendent have both been on site for over 6 years so there is plenty of experience there to help you get on your feet.
Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Producing the 3 Month to 12 month plans.
- Helping out in Drill Blast when needed
- Mentoring 2 junior Engineers in Short Term Planning
- Project based work with the objective of prolonging the LOM… The LOM is currently set at 2016 and plans are in place to take it past 2020.
Mid tier copper producing company. With the high copper prices they are cashed up and using the money to invest back into the operation.
Bachelor of Mining Engineering
2-5 years Mining Engineering experience (Underground ok)
Planning software experience preffered
