This mining powerhouse is establishing an elite engineering team to identify, plan and execute major upgrades to their remote site facilities in South Australia. As the Drafting Manager of this multi functional team, you will providing drafting services to the project and manage drafting contractors to meet deadlines and schedules.
This crucial appointment will require an in-depth understanding of relevant design codes and regulations and significant experience in technical drafting. Leadership skills and a collaborative team approach will see you work effectively with engineering, operations and maintenance teams to manage site stakeholders and project delivery.
Your suitability for this role will be measured on you prior experience designing materials handling and rotating equipment including Smelters. Strong contractor or team management skills are essential whilst a Diploma in Engineering is advantageous. Furthermore you will have sound knowledge and abilities using SAP and MS Office applications.
