Mining Sales Application Engineer

Our client is a multinational company manufacturing and maintaining pumps with distributors throughout America, Asia and Europe.  Our client currently has plans to step up operations in the Australian market.  Currently there are two positions available for area sales representatives in Sydney NSW and Brisbane QLD.

These exciting and diverse roles will definitely keep the bored sales person in you completely engaged and far from dragging your feet.  The product range which includes -

Industrial waste water pumps

Chemical pumps

Sewage pumps

Dewatering pumps

Sludge and slurry pumps

Dirty water pumps

Food - Process and Waste pumps

 

Will require you to quickly grasp a huge range of different industries with an equally huge range of requirements and challenges.  You will be working directly with site engineers, maintenance staff and production managers on a regular bases.  This key opportunity will also require you to make the initial contact and close accounts with Head Engineers, CEOs and directors.

The successful applicant will have a minimum of 2 years experience selling similar equipment and would need a sound mechanical aptitude.  A background in equipment/machinery supply to the food production,  chemical handling or mining would be an advantage.

The successful candidate will have a minimum 2-5 years experience selling Pumps into the mining markets of the Bowen basin. On offer is an attractive salary package which will include a base salary of $80-90K + FMCV + Super + Commissions, This salary package is negotiable due to experience and market contacts.
