An opportunity exists for a results-focused, capable leader, to become a member of the Surface Operations team. Leading a team of up to 70 Operators, we expect our Shift Supervisors to meet challenging production goals, while also delivering on safety and budget targets. This position works on an equal time continuous roster and will report directly to the Mining Superintendent.
The successful applicant must have a strong knowledge and experience of open cut operations and the ability to motivate all operators to deliver improved performance and job satisfaction. A Cert IV in Surface Coal Mining (Open Cut Examiner) qualification would be highly desirable however we are prepared to assist the successful candidate to work towards the completion of this.
