MIS ERP Specialist/ IT

We are owned manufacturing company with over 1,400 employees in multiple locations (USA, China, Taiwan -etc).
We are looking for an MIS/IT person who is capable and willing to move up to the next level as required.

MIS ERP Specialist - is responsible for overseeing the technical application design, construction and implementation of various MIS projects, utilizing effective business and project management disciplines. Responsible training and provide appropriate management with direction on software and hardware how to integration ERP system for all different locations. Must be able to handle multiple projects in fast pace environment.

General Responsibilities:

1. Create and manage the products road map for all MIS applications and systems.

2. Identify desired process and technology states and perform gap analysis from the current process and technology state.

3. Oversee and develop concrete projects and phases to achieve the product road map.

4. Oversee and develop functional specifications and rough order of magnitude budgetary estimates to move from the current to the desired state.

5. Develop technical specifications and detailed estimates and budgetary cost to complete projects and phases of the roadmap.

6. Develop and oversee project plans and implement change control procedures.

7. Facilitate code reviews, software design sessions, and architectural reviews to ensure adherence to plans and specifications.
8. Collaborate with outside or inside developers, quality assurance, and/or infrastructure teams to provide direction/prioritization on systems analysis, design, development, testing and deployment.
9. Ensure timely and effective delivery of the solution into production. Ensure effective handoff to operations for ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting.
10. Interact with customers as a liaison for technical discussion/interaction as required.
11. Ensure creation of proper documentation of the solution has been completed.
12. Assist in training of internal staff as needed.
13. Manage and develop internal MIS development staff.

Requirements:
1. BS or BA degree in computer science, business administration, math, or sciences plus programming ability in MS Exchange and Crystal Reports.

2. Requiring with experience and knowledge to integrations ERP systems.

3. Two to Five years experience managing MIS or IT development efforts using web development technologies and architectures, Web Services.

4. Two to Five years experience managing development on multiple platforms: Web Servers. Windows Server.

5. Experience with general business processes (quoting, sales order, invoicing)
Knowledge of import/export and distribution a plus. Analytical and detail oriented in extracting business requirements and finding optimal systems solutions.

6. Experience with Salesforce.com a plus

7. Experience with Microsoft Project OR OTHER PROJECT MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE

8. Demonstrated skills with development and process improvement tools and methodologies, software development lifecycle and problem solving.

9. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects. Ability to meet stated customer initiated deadlines.

10.Well developed verbal, written and oral (including telephone) communication skills.

11.Strong drive toward attainment of goals.

12. Strong customer service focus with ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.

13.Must have ability to effectively/efficiently manage staffing resources, plus bilingual Chinese travel to overseas will be required based on set up system need.
