This internationally renowned Investment Bank has offices around the world which provide large corporate, government and institutional clients with a comprehensive set of solutions for their strategy advisory, financing and risk management needs. They are now looking for a suitable candidate to join the Operations Metrics Group.
The team is responsible for all aspects of trade activity/life-cycle reporting, efficiency improvements and productivity analysis. The Group is an essential partner to all capital markets business units, Finance and Technology to provide trading activity data. It supports users across the firm through well-developed tools: access to centralized database through Business Object software, which affords automated as well as ad-hoc user-defined MIS reports.
You will be responsible for generating regular KPI and trade volume metrics report for management review, to ensure these critical risks and exposure metrics serve to identify and highlight weaknesses/control issues to management's attention. Together with operations stakeholders, you will be involved in MIS projects implementation which includes requirements gathering and analysis, training of super users, UAT support and issues management, and live implementation.
Armed with a bachelor's degree, you will have at least 2-3 years of experience either in operations or middle office with an Investment Bank. Demonstrated business analysis and project management skills are essential for you to excel in this role. In addition, you need to have strong problem solving skills, an eye for detail, and quick to recognise issues and recommend timely solutions.
