MLO Senior Loan Closer - Farmington, CT : 1200012070 Description In addition to the responsibilities of a mortgage loan operations center (MLO) loan closer, handles more complex mortgage loan transactions and is usually more skilled and tenured. Works more independently than less seasoned closers. May assist with training and coaching of associates and/or distribution of work to associates. This job will require the candidate to be able to understand vesting requirements, payoff information, and escrows in order to be succesfull. Candidate must possess knowledge of the mortgage processing or closing role. Must also be able to function in a high paced environment. preparing various closing documents; monitoring closed loan pipeline to ensure timely funding. In the mortgage loan operations center (MLO), coordinates preparation of loan closing packages, including issuance of funds, closing instructions, etc., necessary to ensure the marketability of loans. Maintains a high level of customer service by being proactive in communication with customers, may include banking center associates, realtors, etc Qualifications Required: Must have working knowledge of EDGE, Statusmart workflow. Experience as a Mortgage Closer preferred. Accuracy and strict attention to detail. Strong communication and organization skills. Excellent customer service skills/focus on customer. Strong math skills. Problem-solving and reasoning ability. Decision-making capabilities. Able to adapt to changing environments, situations, and job responsibilities Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimum supervision. Capacity to work in a team-oriented environment Desired Mortgage Experience Preferred. GFE/RESPA/REG X Knowledge Bilingual-Spanish preferred but not required.
