Mobile Business Object Data Model Developer recruitment
Summary
Ideal candidates would have 2+ years of solid experience in Sybase Unwired Platform application design and coding. Experience with developing MBOs to interface into an SAP ERP environment is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Work effectively with a team of SAP developers to expose SAP functionality and consume through Sybase Unwired Platform Mobile Business Objects (MBOs)
- Build data-driven applications to support/enhance existing Barclays business processes
- Deliver applications under pressure and adhere to strict timelines
- Maintaining schedules and reporting and documentation
- Drive customer and stake holder engagement related to the projects
- Experience working in a fast pace environment where you need to take ownership and responsibly for delivering key elements.
- Ability to communicate with various internal customers.
- Ability to prioritize and differentiate demands, Self-motivated, resourceful, and knows when to seek help
- Interest in relevant emerging technologies and a passion to share that with colleagues
- Ability to work independently with minimal Supervisor intervention
Required Skills
- Experience in building both native and workflow SUP 2.1+ applications, MBO creation, connecting to SAP BAPI and RFCs, and workflow deployment
- At least 2 years development experience in one or more of the following languages: Objective-C for iOS platform, Java, Javascript, HTML5, and CSS
- Preferred candidates will have SAP NetWeaver experience
- Preferred candidates will have JSON experience
- Strong knowledge in SUP/Mobile application Security
- Preferred candidates will have good knowledge in Objective-C for the iOS platform, Java, Javascript, HTML5 and CSS
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years experience in SUP coding environment
- 7+ years of professional hands-on programming experience
- Experienced with Agile/Scrum methodology
- Preferred candidates will have strong portfolio of applications in Apple Apps Store
