Mobile Developer – PhoneGap / Appcelerator, ASP.Net, WCF – Remote option – 6 mo Contrac Job in Winston
Our client is looking for a mobile developer to help them create world class user experiences on mobile devices. It’s a small team with a start-up feel so creativity, self-motivation and the ability to get things done without needing a lot from other people is an absolute must. They want people who can give input, generate ideas and help set the overall direction of their applications. The mobile experience is just one aspect of the application, so this developer will need to know how to interact with other services, build disconnected apps and be able to develop an entire application based on provided design assets. If you’re interested in a fast-paced, accountable and fun environment where you get to build some really cool iOS (and Android) apps, then this position is for you.
- MUST have a published app in the marketplace that you've had hands-on development experience with. There is no development team to hand it off to, so you'll need to be self-contained and ready to go.
- MUST be able to provide examples of published applications you have developed (hands on) for the mobile market (Android or Apple). If you do not have experience that can be pointed to, you are not the right candidate for this position.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain mobile applications which includes (but not limited to):
• Preference towards PhoneGap or Appcelerator development; native iOS will be considered.
• Ability to connect to RESTful web services.
• Great eye for user experience.
- Own the code and quality of the app; strong pride in deliverables and work ethic.
- Familiarity with ASP.Net MVC and WCF is a plus.
- Whatever else comes up that client needs in order to succeed; wearing multiple hats will be a fact of life.
Qualifications
- 5+ years strong experience
- Proven track record of delivering awesome mobile apps.
- Ability to rapidly iterate.
