Description:      

The Mobile Development Manager will oversee day to day mobile development activities as well as taking a leadership role in oversight of the architectures.  The ideal candidate will be a hands-on development manager with deep experience in both architecting and developing across multiple mobile platforms for both native (iOS, Android, Blackberry) and HTML5 platforms.
   
Essential Day-to-Day Responsibilities:      

• Lead a team of mobile developers in their day to day activities
• Follow and enforce Agile/Scrum methodolgy during development
• Conduct code reviews and ensure best coding practices
• Stay on top of current mobile trends and technologies
• Develop and prototype applications on mutiple mobile platforms

Education:     

• Bachelors required, MBA plus    
    
Required Skills:

 

• 8+ years of experience in a highly technical and development lead role (5 of which should be in mobile)
• Hands on development experience with iOS, BlackBerry and Android platform development
• HTML5 experience is a plus
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development
• Strong understanding of Web technologies
• Ability to be a team player and work closely with other development leads to ensure a cooperative and collaborative environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to balance and prioritize multiple concurrent projects effectively  
      
Desired Skills:

    
• Financial Industry experience is a plus
