Mobile Field Design Engineer – Mobile Devices
Mobile Field Design Engineer required with detailed background in RF across multiple wireless technologies and background in RF and OTA performance of devices and live network / field testing experience to identify specific test scenarios and strong debugging skills to evaluate the latest devices and tablet etc during early evaluation and for prototypes from a hardware perspective on different wireless technologies such as HSPA, UMTS, LTE, etc across this tech giants ground breaking product set and must have devices.
This role will require extensive technical skills and strong communication skills and will involve working on focussed experiments in relationship to RF / OTA ("over the air") performance, call performance, protocol throughput, RX Receiver, acoustics, thermals, GPS systems etc. You will be working closely with HW systems development teams and cross functional across cross functional teams on identifying issues impacting hardware systems performance, include deep dives into internal logs to understand the root cause of any hardware related issues.
This will be a chance to further your career with and evaluate the latest hardware systems in the field for one of the biggest names in technology working on some of the worlds best known and cutting edge products. Ideal backgrounds for this role could come from either validation, certification or research backgrounds.
You will also be required to be available to travel within the UK and Europe.
