Our client a leading Speciality insurance corporation is looking for a Mobile Application Tester to work independently on development initiatives across various Mobile applications for provisioning Content . We are open for both contract and Full time position and is based in San Mateo, CA
Key Responsibilities / Duties:
· Create test plans and test strategies.
· Execute test cases for mobile applications developed on Android, iOS, Blackberry.
· Functional, regression, GUI, backend, WAP, SMS, and system testing.
· Design, develop and execute automated and manual tests
· Contribute to increasing test coverage on Automated Mobile Device and Web Service testing
Key Skills and Attributes:
· Test experience with applications and components on one or more Mobile platforms (Android SDK, iPhone SDK and RIMBlackBerry)
· Demonstratable understanding of transactional product usability issues, preferably in the mobile services industry
· Background in functional/automated testing with the ability to plan, design, script and execute test cases
· Experience of Agile software development practices
· Experienced in the maintenance of automated test scripts
· Proven diagnostic and debugging skills
· Proven experience with manual testing including system, regression, use case and functional testing
· Strong analytical and trouble-shooting skills
