Mobile QA Lead Role Responsibilities
Time Inc.’s Digital Operations group is looking for a Mobile QA Lead to drive all aspects of software quality for our digital magazine applications.
Responsibilities:
• Work with the leadership and stakeholders to deliver digital magazines based on the product roadmap and vision
• Work with Digital Operations Manager to define quality process, tools, and governance
• Develop a quality roadmap in alignment with the product roadmap
• Develop and execute test plans and test strategies to support the quality objectives for each application
• Develop quality metrics to measure quality
• Work closely with the software engineers and product management to understand product requirements, release cycles, and appropriate level of testing required
• Track open bugs – including who from various groups across IT own each bug
• Coordinate with other teams to ensure high quality cross-application experience
• Ensure all changes moved to production have been through the established quality assurance procedures
• Effectively lead projects involving on and offshore teams
• Help represent Digital Operations in Change Management
• Note: this role is not responsible for testing non-functional aspects such as security, performance, load, availability, and usability testing of the applications.

Requirements:
The successful applicant will possess the following requirements:
• BSCS or equivalent degree
• Minimum of 2 years working in software QA, preferably in a content publishing environment
• Hands-on experience with various testing tools and techniques
• Strong knowledge of quality processes and standards
• Experience managing multiple projects with domestic and off-shore staff in multiple locations
• Experience in setting and managing the test environments
• Strong analytic skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Writing and executing test cases at various phase of the project
