Currently, we are seeking a Mobility Sales Consultant to join our team in East Hartford, CT.  Offering the chance to earn a competitive salary with the extra incentive of helping those in need makes this a highly sought-after opportunity. 

 

As a Mobility Sales Consultant, you will engage in a comprehensive training program with the goal of preparing you to provide the best product knowledge and customer service offered by the mobility services industry.  Specifically, you will:

· Use your networking skills to generate referrals and new business leads.
· Develop a sales territory by prospecting and building relationships with local auto
  dealers, rehabilitation hospitals, independent living facilities, and other organizations.
· Become a product knowledge expert, educating others on modified vehicles, wheelchair
  ramps and lifts, and associated accessories.
· Work diligently to assist people with disabilities in securing solutions to their mobility
  needs.  Research and recommend funding options, help coordinate installation
  appointments, and deliver vehicles to customers.
· Promote Ride-Away at various trade shows and conferences to showcase product lines.
· Quote pricing options to customers and clients using Ride-Away’s approved
  pricing guidelines.
· In conjunction with our vehicle administration department, assist customers with all
  necessary paperwork and documentation (insurance, titling, registration, etc.) to allow
  them to enjoy their vehicle.
· Act as a liaison between the customer and the service department to assist as needed.

 

Position Qualifications and Entrance Requirements

· Associate degree in business or sales management is preferred, but not required.

· Candidates must have 2+ years experience working in a commission-based sales
  environment.

· Experience in the mobility equipment or automotive sales industry is preferred.

· Excellent customer service skills are required, and experience in working with people with
  disabilities is a plus.

· Solid written and verbal communication skills and computer skills (MS Office) are
  required.

· Ability to multi-task and work independently with minimal supervision is required.

· Candidates must be able to successfully complete a motor vehicle and criminal
  background check.
