Model Developer – Financial recruitment
The Challenge
Excellent opportunity for a Financial Modeller to join the project finance / corporate finance team of this rapidly expanding global renewable energy company. Working as part of an experienced team of corporate finance professionals the role will involve preparing and building complex financial models.
Responsibilities will include:
- Design, build and maintain highly complex financial models for renewable energy projects.
- Take responsibility for structural integrity and functionality of models including accounting, tax and regulatory requirements of various global markets.
- Support the acquisition/investment/tender/bidding appraisal activities of multi-million dollar projects globally through financial modelling.
- Work internally as part of multi-functional teams to assess markets and projects as required.
- Role may involve travel from time to time.
The Candidate
The candidate for this Financial Modelling role must have the following:
- Degree qualified (Business / Finance/ Engineering discipline) with a minimum of 3 years experience in a financial modelling role within a project finance or corporate finance environment.
- Prior experience working in the energy or renewable energy sector will be a distinct advantage.
- Excellent understanding of financial statements, an ability to analyse qualitative and quantitative information.
- Prior transaction experience in particular on the close process on sponsor / advisor side will be desirable.
- Proficiency in use of Microsoft suite (in particular Excel)

The Compensation
There will be a competitive remuneration package on offer including salary circa 60k plus a benefit package.
