-- Modeling and Simulation Research Analyst, Senior-01116295 Description Key Role: Provide broad spectrum analytical support to government clients through modeling and simulation activities. Develop and use a variety of analytical techniques and tools to support analytical design, execution, and reporting. Conduct technical studies by using modeling and simulation, wargaming, statistics, and other analysis techniques. Support a variety of analytical efforts by identifying the right combination of processes and tools to meet client needs and execute the analysis by providing decision support along the way. Support analytical tool development and analytical execution. Coordinate for surge support and specialized skill set support to clients. This position is located in Albuquerque, NM. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: -8 years of experience with providing analytical support through analytical design, execution, and reporting -Experience with providing analytical support in a DoD environment -Experience in the nuclear weapons community -Experience with Modeling and Simulation (MS) tools -Experience with providing MS study design -TS/SCI clearance -BA or BS degree Additional Qualifications: -Experience with nuclear weapons and a nuclear environment -Experience with the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center and its subordinate and supporting organizations -Experience with development-level Microsoft Excel -Experience with EXTEND simulation tools -Experience with mentoring or teaching analytical methods and tools -Experience in a task leadership and client-facing role -Experience with systems analysis and design methods -Ability to translate information, develop insights, and work alongside clients at client sites -Ability to be a self-starter and thrive in a fast-paced environment -Possession of excellent technical oral and written communication skills -Possession of excellent briefing and facilitation skills -Possession of excellent leadership, analysis, client handling, and data gathering skills -BA or BS degree in Economics, Mathematics, Physics, Finance, Operations Research, or a related field preferred; MA or MS degree a plus Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information, TS/SCI clearance required.
