Individual will develop predictive models and scores using SAS in the Retail Parter Cards Division of a major bank. Candidates need 4-10years related work experience in analytics/modeling within cards/financial services.
Business Technical Experience:
· Masters or Doctoral degree with a specialization in Statistics or Mathematics preferred. Leadership Competencies
· Strong communication and presentation skills targeting a variety of audiences
· Proficient in technical skills tools such as: statistical modeling disciplines, SAS and financial analytics
· Experience with dealing with Gov’t regulators and internal / external auditors.
· Education Level: Master's Degree / Ph.D preferred
· Must have the expertise and experience to define, drive and deliver innovative modeling techniques and data strategies to create a breakthrough for profitable franchise growth by providing innovative models data driven strategies to drive enable best in class risk management.
· Interacts, communicates effectively and maintains strong working relationship on an ongoing basis with business partners.
· Will operate with full autonomy on large-scale projects that span multiple business functions, determining both project timeline as well as scope.
· Presentations to both technical and non technical personnel are required to be made frequently as part of the job.
· Provide analytic thought leadership and detailed analytic plans for the team to execute on key models.
· Provide process leadership to drive efficient management of existing models, identification and evaluation of new data and incorporation of new techniques.
· Ability to work efficiently in a matrix environment balancing between both business and functional interactions and priorities.
Salary: $100-150k
