DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Modelling:
- Define the assumptions and update the models for the EEV calculation.
- Participate in the calculation of the Solvency capital requirements under new Solvency 2 regulation
- Assist in the preparations for meeting the new reporting and risk management requirements under Solvency 2.
- Define the assumptions and update the models for the Financial Condition Reporting
Experience Analyses:
- Provide portfolio and claims analyses to assist Underwriting, Reserving and Management make key decisions
Database Management:
- Implement and improve controls on quality, accuracy, completeness and security of data and data transfer
- Improve data uploading processes
- Assist in defining reporting requirements while setting up new partners / products
Reserving:
- Participate in the monthly checking of the Reserve calculations for the Technical Accounts.
Internal relations:
- With IT, Administration Operations, Project, Claim and Finance Departments and Business Development Departments
External relations:
- With corporate clients and Third Party Administrators (TPA).
Experience and qualification:
Qualification:
- Actuarial qualification an advantage but not a necessity. Statistical and Maths Science Graduates also considered.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years professional experience
- Experience with SAS/SQL and VBA Programming an advantage.
- Experience working with Microsoft packages, particularly Excel, a necessity.
- Experience in Database Management an advantage
- Experience working with Actuarial models and a knowledge of Modelling Best Practice an advantage.
- Experience working on projects an advantage.
Skills:
- English fluency a necessity. French or other European language an advantage.
- Good communication skills, team player, organised and punctual.
