Moderation Specialist
This position is for a temporary engagement through our staffing partner WorkforceLogic. The anticipated duration of this engagement is 12 months. Note: The duration of this assignment will not exceed 12 months.
The Moderation Specialist will be responsible for daily moderation of various PlayStation®Network titles and other PlayStation®Network online services. This is an opportunity to work with the game industry leader and be a part of the exciting evolution taking place in games and entertainment. As Moderation Specialist, you would perform an integral role in moderating the community of the next-generation online experiences to millions of gamers. In addition to the necessary qualifications and experience, the right candidate will possess passion for console games and an understanding of the game industry.
Overall, the position of Moderation Specialist is expected to partner with the organization to: Manage and support day-to-day aspects of the PlayStation®Network, including:
- Assist in moderation of PlayStation®Network forums, community sites, online gaming and virtual worlds.
- Process daily complaint form data
- Analyze bug reports from ongoing Beta programs
- Work with SCEA Customer Service to enforce community standards
- Assist in the coordination of special promotions
Required Knowledge / Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal skills required
- Strong interpersonal communication skills to help foster a team environment
- Must excel in fast paced environment
- Self-motivation, keen attention to detail, and multi-tasking a must
Required Experience / Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Previous game industry experience in community management or online moderation
- Experience with social networks and online gaming a plus
