Mold Maker
* Supports production by repairing plastic injection molds. Ensure molds are prepaired for dialy production.
* Plans mold repairs and maintenance by reading blueprints, instructions, and sketches, or studying actual part.
* Builds jigs and fixtures as determined by engineering and quality.
* Prepares mold by operating, monitoring, and adjusting equipment; using hand tools.
* Must be proficient with mechanics hand tools, calipers, guages and miromerters.
* Works with prescision and close toerances molds. Verifies quality by measuring results using precision instruments.
* Ability to troubleshoot and deal with mold problems with understanding of how to improve mold performance (Polishing, etc)
* Maintains safe work environment by following standards and procedures.
* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
