Money Market – Payments & Cash Specialist recruitment

Reporting directly to the Money Markets Team Lead, your responsibilities will include:
- Day to day processing all transactions with relation to Money Markets internal and external third party execution, FX exceptions, and subsequent queries/ breaks that may arise.
- Assist in identification of Operational Risk items, contributing to team controls as required.
- Be accountable for understanding and execution of daily tasks, including prioritisation of activities.
- Ensure the daily checklist is signed off appropriately on completion of each task and the relevant evidence recorded as specified, any issues to be promptly escalated to Team Lead.
- Update processes, procedures and controls in line with changes in daily tasks, in conjunction with their Team Lead and COO Risk representative.
- Ensure understanding of all team performance measurements (including MI KPI's) and the impact of these on team performance.
- Ensure prompt and correct escalation of issues where applicable.
- Undertake duties as delegated by the Team Lead, including, where necessary, working with UK Change as appropriate.
- Responsible for compliance with all relevant policies and procedures, as well as regulatory reporting where appropriate.
- Attend relevant team, stream and departmental meetings. On occasion, be required to represent their Team Lead at relevant forums, including (but not limited to) Team Lead meetings within the stream.
Role requirements:
- Previous experience within a client focused support area from a Wealth, Private Banking or Hedge Fund environment is essential.
- Experience in UK’s financial industry, clear understanding of Money Markets and its products, Payments and FX.
- Extensive and active experience in a number of operational roles.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent.
- Strong IT and MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- The ability to multi-task and prioritise within a busy and fast paced, dynamic team working environment.
