Monitoring Manager UK
Objective of the Position
To provide senior management with a Compliance framework which assists in the ongoing identification, assessment, mitigation and monitoring of compliance risks.
Core Activities:

- Reporting
- Risk Identification and Assessment
- Leadership, coaching and development of others
- Training
Requirements:
- Ideally degree educated, or a strong academic record with extensive compliance experience.
Professional qualifications, such as the CISI Diploma or equivalent.
- A strong and demonstrated ability to undertake broad compliance monitoring activities by demonstrating knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements in relation to all business lines located in the UK.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely on complex regulatory compliance issues at all levels, both internally and externally.
- Ability to produce written documents articulating key aspects of issues identified, along with full impact analysis on relevant business areas.
- Ability to resolve conflict and deal with confrontation through tact and skill.
- Ability to work independently, but a strong team player.
- Assertive, analytical, accurate and tenacious.
- Display initiative in identifying and presenting solutions to support activities and plans.
- Forward looking and focused on effective processes and increasing efficiency
- Practical and pro-active approach.
- Self-motivated, and well organised.
- A deep understanding of relevant existing, and emerging regulatory requirements.
- A strong and demonstrated ability to provide compliance advice.
- Excellent command of the English language both written and orally
- High level of IT literacy.
- Attention to detail.
