Moodle Developer – New Project Job in Sydney, New South Wales Australia

- 9 months Fixed term contract on salary or can be a daily rate contract – CBD based
Our Client, a leading education provider is seeking a Moodle Developer to join their team as they are embarking on a new LMS development for 2 new education courses. You will build interfaces in Moodle to enable integration with the Student Management System and other systems.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with various Learning Management Systems but enjoy taking a project through its full life cycle.
Responsibilities:
- Build, Customise and integrate Moodle System.
- Analyse eLearning business processes, procedures and user requirements in order to establish Moodle system requirements
- Performs estimations, design and analysis of Moodle applications.
- Code, Customise and implement effective Moodle system.
- Write scripts to automate Moodle routines and processes.
- Support implementation of multi-tenancy scalable Moodle Architecture.
- Implementation of integration interfaces using industry standards.
- Maintain and manage Moodle databases, system upgrades, support end-users
- Document Version the Moodle design, code base and configuration regularly.
Skills
- Experience in Moodle Development, Configuration and Administration
- Experience coding in Moodle and PHP
- Experience working on Linux, Apache, MySQL PHP HTML and Javascript
- Experience working on scripting language such as Perl
- Code SQL query creation and optimisation
- Experience in XML data structures and Webservices (ie SOA).
- An ability to work with internal stakeholders and have good system project life cycle experience
