Mortgage Administrator recruitment

An experienced mortgage administrator is required to assist with the growth of the UK residential mortgage book. Residential mortgages are a growth area for the Wealth Management business in the UK.

The successful candidate will work in the specialist mortgage team and assist mortgage advisers in day to day operations from the point of instruction of valuers and bank's solicitors through to completion.

Specific responsibilities involve:
Instructing mortgage valuations and reviewing valuation reports
Preparing mortgage offer letters and liaising with legal and credit on special conditions
Reviewing report on titles
Approving both valuations and report on titles in lines with delegated authorities
Issuing payment orders in a timely manner

The candidate will be expected to be able to draw on their experience in handling residential mortgage transactions to resolve queries on titles such as insurance issues or indemnity requirements.

Proven background in residential mortgages
Extensive and active experience in handling client transactions through to completion
Wealth Management or Private Banking experience is preferred
Experience of handling Report on Titles and resolving queries with solicitors
IT Literate
Good English written skills
Strong communication skills
Ability to work independently without supervision
