Mortgage Application Developer Job in Horsham 19044, Pennsylvania US

We have an immediate need for a Programmer Analyst to help with the development and support of the NetOxygen Mortgage Lending application.  Candidates should be well-versed in both web based programming concepts and mortgage industry terminology.

 

This is a temp-to-perm position and is located in the Philly Metro area.

 

Responsibilities:

-       Design, code, test, debug, implement and support the NetOxygen Mortgage Lending application in a Microsoft web-based environment

-       Analyze, identify and troubleshoot issues encountered in production and/or reported by customers/users by investigating and conducting in-depth research and debugging code

-       Provide end user support to NetOxygen users, minimal user interface

-       Strong ability to work and communicate as a team player in a small development team

-       Create, execute, and document unit/system test plans, test cases, and test scripts within a full Software Development Life Cycle methodology

-       Provide regular status updates on assigned projects.  Identify technical risks and issues associated with assigned tasks and coordinate resolution with internal IT organizations and 3rd party vendors

-       Execute day-to-day production support and administrative tasks as needed

-       Design and develop crystal reports (occasionally)

 

Qualifications:

-       5+ years of experience in VB and JavaScript

-       B.S. in Computer Science or similar. Experience may be substituted for education

-       Development experience with a toolkit based Mortgage Loan Origination system (specifically with the NetOxygen application is a plus)

-       Strong understanding of the mortgage industry, including recent regulatory changes (i.e. MDIA, RESPA 2010, ULDD)

-       Experience working with Visual Basic and JavaScript

-       Strong XML/SOAP and web service experience

-       Experience with MS SQL Server queries and stored procedures

-       Must be able to work independently or as part of a team

-       Strong written and verbal communications skills

-       Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a production environment

-       Ability to work within a defined SDLC

-       Ability to interface with all levels of the organization

-       Excellent customer focus and Strong written and verbal communications skills

-       Proficient in MS Office products
