Mortgage Assistant ( Originator ) Job in Scottsdale 85255, Arizona US

Job Description: 

Immediate need for Mortgage Originator Assistant!!  We are looking for hard working, dedicated, detail oriented candidates for the following duties:  Provide support to the Mortgage Loan Originator, follow up with customers to clarify information or obtain missing documentation, review loan applications for accuracy, provide status updates and follow-up calls to customers, identify potential problems and immediately communicate to the originator, communicate changes and closing details with processing, regular pipeline review with Loan Originator, review or edit GFE for accuracy, audit loan files compliance and completeness, manage lead distribution, manage incoming and outgoing email, build relationships with all internal and external customers as necessary, and assists Mortgage Originator with administrative duties as necessary including, sending customer thank you notes, send status reports, distribution of marketing material, faxing sales contract to vendor, etc.

Qualification:

·         Candidate must have at least 2 years of experience working for a mortgage company and are knowledgeable in the industry.

·         Candidate should have knowledge of basic loan products and the ability to validate the borrower will qualify for the loan.

·         Candidate should have experience with VA, FHA, USDA, and other government loans.

·         Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communications skills.

·         Ability to use strong work ethic and good organizational skills to be successful handling multiple priorities simultaneously.

·         Possess skills in the use of social media for marketing and communication.

·         Strong communication and follow up skills.

·         Candidates must poses PC skills with demonstrated proficiency in programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel.

Licensing: 

·         Arizona Loan Originator Licensed Preferred (NMLS).

·         Willingness to pay for or assist in the cost of obtaining as NMLS license, for the right candidate.
