About the Job
The Mortgage Loan Originator position will be responsible for generating leads which result in closed conventional and FHA residential first mortgage loans. They will be expected to develop and maintain relationships with realtors, builders, developers and other potential business sources. An applicant interview will be conducted to review and evaluate the applicants financial and credit data to determine risk. The person must keep informed on current real estate market trends and the rules, regulations and upcoming changes pertaining to the residential mortgage market.Excellent customer service skills as well as a strong desire to go above and beyond to promote the credit unon to current and prospective customers required.
