Mortgage or Consumer Loans Specialist Needed ASAP! Job in Herndon 20170, Virginia Us

Our client needs a Loan Processor for a project. As the Loan Processor you primary responsibilities will be to ensure that all information and documentation required to verify application information is obtained within established timeframes set by corporate policy. Duties and responsibilities include: -Set-up all new loan applications within 48 hrs of receipt. -Set-up to include input of all data required to establish loan in the computer system; updating system to reflect all items required for submission to underwriting; enter current status of each item; confirm loan lock status. -Order documentation required to complete verification of application information, including credit report updates, appraisal, verifications and loan program disclosures not obtained at time of application. -Review and validate all loan data received on loan files that receive an approval thru an AUS system when the appraisal, income and asset documentation have been waived by the AUS system. -Review incoming verification documentation within 24 hours of receipt to determine acceptability; issue request for additional documentation which may be required as soon as need is determined. -Maintain computer system to reflect current status of all documents required for final approval. -Keep team management and loan officers informed of loan statuses on a regular basis. -Maintain working knowledge of all loan programs/products offered by the Bank to ensure that loans conform to program requirements throughout the loan process. -Review files on a regular basis to ensure that progress is being made toward final loan approval in accordance with established timeframes. -Complete input of system data throughout the loan process to ensure system consistently and accurately reflects up to date information. -After loan approval, issue commitment letter to borrower and complete data screens for preparation of loan closing package. -Follow-up to ensure all loan approval and closing conditions are received at least 5 business days prior to loan closing; reviewed and approved by underwriter, if applicable. -Process loan cancellations within 24 hours of receipt of notice of cancellation or withdrawal request. Forward canceled files to file management for retention. -Maintain accuracy of weekly pipeline reports. -Perform other related duties as required or assigned by management.

2+ years experience with mortgage processing experience including both conventional and government loans required. Ability to accurately process and close 40 loans in a purchase market and 80 loans in a refinance market; complete knowledge of FNMA/FHLMC/FHA/VA guidelines as well as those of other Investors, Private Mortgage insurance Companies and programs offered by the Bank.
