Colonial Savings, an established company with more than 50 years in DFW, is looking for outgoing, customer-service oriented team players to join our team.
As a Mortgage Services Rep with Colonial Savings, you will be responsible for providing prompt, professional, and responsive service to homeowners regarding their mortgage accounts. Specific job duties may include escrow analysis, loss draft processing, and/or credit dispute response. You may answer more than one hundred calls or secure messages per day.
You’ll need:
· 2 to 5 years experience in mortgage
· Thorough knowledge of customer service
· Outstanding communication and rapport building skills
· Some experience in a high volume call center
· Computer skills, including email and messaging
· Intermediate math skills
· And a high school diploma or equivalent
We’re looking for quick learners with basic understanding of some, or all of, the following:
· Mortgage loan administration
· Mortgage payment processing
· Escrow account management including analysis, fee auditing, and mortgage account information editing
· Collateral change requests
· Assumptions
· Payoffs
· Specific escrow item management
· Credit reporting
· Property insurance claims
· Default servicing
· Knowledge of applicable regulations and guidelines
Bilingual verbal and written communication skills are highly sought, but not required.
