Mortgage Servicing Compliance Manager recruitment
• Chair Compliance Implementation Strategy Meetings documenting agenda/minutes/decisions made. Review Regulatory Compliance Bulletins with the impacted business unit(s), document and answer questions on new requirements; discuss with business unit how they intend on complying to new requirements; provide guidance to ensure understanding of and compliance to new requirements.
• Ensure timely receipt of documentation to support implementation of new laws, changes in existing laws and policies; review, work with business unit to resolve implementation issues; approve documentation prior to effective date of law/policy; document Reg Comp tracking.
• Escalate compliance risk issues as identified, review with Director, clearly articulate issue, identify business unit owner/approve action plan to comply, document weekly compliance risk issues report,
• Engage legal department in Compliance Implementation Strategy Meetings, review and approval of all policies, procedures, implementation plans, test scripts (for Mortgage Servicing Compliance).
• Work with Monitoring, Testing and Reporting team (Mortgage LOB) and business unit to develop/document test scripts for new laws, changes to existing laws, policies and procedures.
• Serve as intermediary between Exam Team and business unit for State Exams. Coordinate requests, review previous findings/perform pre-review of loans prior to exam.
• Maintain integrity of and current inventory of all Servicing Compliance records (meeting agendas, minutes, decisions made, compliance approvals provided, legal approvals provided on all documents, forms, letters, policies, procedures, business systems requirements) approved by Servicing Compliance.
• Work with business unit to develop action plans to close federal/state exam findings and monitoring and testing findings.
• Coordinate/perform compliance risk assessments as needed.
• Write policies as needed.
• Represent Servicing Compliance as needed on special project teams.
• Ensures day-to-day operations are conducted in compliance with regulatory and legal requirements and the organization's policy
• Maintains documentation, provides requested information to regulatory agencies, and keeps management informed of problems
• Working knowledge of applicable federal and state compliance regulations
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned

• Education level: Minimum - Bachelors degree in business or related major
• Total years and type of prior related experience: 10 + years Mortgage Servicing Operations and/or Mortgage Servicing Compliance
- Must be detailed oriented, results oriented
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to clearly articulate issues a must
- Must be able to effectively drive issues to conclusion
