Small Growing Mortgage Company in Blue Bell, PA is looking for experienced underwriter. This is a temp/contract position with the potential for hire!
• Underwrites residential loans ensuring compliance with appropriate company and secondary market investor standards
• Examines loan documentation for accuracy and completeness
• Works with loan originator or production staff to secure all required documents
• Have authority to withdraw and decline loans
• May be involved in one or several types of mortgage lending (conventional, government-backed, etc).
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2+ years of underwriting experience
• VA FHA Underwriting experience is a plus
• Ability to validate income, asset and collateral documents including self employed tax returns
• Excellent phone skills and, superior customer service skills
